When Marcum Benefit Group set out in 2005, the mission was simple: provide exceptional service and retirement expertise to business owners and individuals. Whether you are a business owner looking to design and facilitate a retirement plan for your employees or an individual looking to begin saving for retirement – our mission is to help in every step along the retirement journey.

Connie Marcum, founder, has worked in the retirement plan industry since 1987. In 2005, she formed Marcum Benefit Group as a Principal Financial Group Registered Representative. Connie and her husband, Alan, have been married for over 40 years and have two daughters and five grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family gardening, boating, fishing and skiing.  Connie and Alan are active members of Graceland Baptist in New Albany, Indiana.

Bryce Gartman, partner, began working for Marcum Benefit Group in 2015 as an intern. After graduating from the University of Louisville in December of 2016, he began working full time as an associate while studying for his securites and insurance licensing exams. After obtaining his Series 7, 66 and life/health insurance licences he became a Registered Representative with Principal Securities, Inc. Bryce and his wife, Kenzi, live in Louisville with a pug named Ernie and a cat named Boo. In his free time, he enjoys mountain biking, skateboarding and music.
